Smelter off-gas (arsenic dust) vitrification plant (PFS) – Tsumeb Copper Smelter

Provide preliminary engineering services to support a Pre-Feasibility Study performed by Dundee Sustainable Technologies.

The project entailed a proposed solution for the long-term disposal of arsenic dust, a process by-product. The vitrification process plant design was done by the client.

ADP was responsible for the overall plant layout and brownfields interfacing, including engineering for earthworks & civils, structures, mechanical, platework, piping, electrical, control & instrumentation as well as the determining the capital cost estimate and implementation schedule for the ADP design scope.

The project ran from May 2020 to August 2020.
