120 tph Pilot Plant – Mutamba Mineral Sands

ADP is currently executing a 120 tph pilot plant to treat mineral sands on a green field site, for Mutamba Mineral Sands (Rio Tinto) at Jangamo in the province of Inhambane in Mozambique.
This plant is based on the 120 tph pilot plant supplied to Richards Bay Minerals (Rio Tinto) in 2022.
The plant and infrastructure are summarised as follows:
Front End
* Grizzly Feed Hopper and ROM load tip designed and supplied by ADP.
* VSD driven Belt Feeder and Conveyor designed and supplied by ADP.
* Screening module – designed and supplied by ADP.
* Pumping, piping and valves.
* Density control.
Spiral circuit
* 3 stage spiral plant (Rougher, Cleaner and Scavenger).
Stacking
* Product stacker designed and supplied by ADP.
* Tailings stacker – motorised slewing designed and supplied by ADP.
Water plant
* Thickeners x2.
* Flocculent plant.
Process and raw water tanks
Tailings disposal to dam
Infrastructure including a containerised MCC and Control room building
Access road rehabilitation
