To become the leading medium-sized supplier of world-class, innovative processing and mining systems to a niche client base in the mining industry, by supplying products and services which add value to their bottom line.

BACKGROUND

  • ADP established in 1997 in Cape Town, South Africa
  • Experience and project delivery growth from initial design and supply of modular plants to EPCM project delivery, primarily but not limited to:
  • –  Diamonds
  • –  Gold
  • –  Coal
  • –  Uranium
  • –  Mineral Sands
  • –  Copper
  • –  Zinc
  • –  Graphite
  • The two main operating companies established in 2012 – ADP Projects and ADP Marine and Modular.
  • Majority acquisition of ADP Holdings by Lycopodium Limited, Australia, in 2014
  • Change in name of ADP Projects to Lycopodium ADP and alignment of the company with Lycopodium Mineral business cluster in 2015.
  • Capability from studies (desktop, concept, PFS, FS) to full project implementation and commissioning through EPCM, with flexibility for client preferences of project implementation.

  • Establishment of  longstanding relationships, alliances, partnerships and formal agreements with key companies.
  • Pioneered and effectively ran, on a 4-year Build, Own and Operate basis, a 7 million ton per year dry mining, screening, pumping system for Richards Bay Minerals.
  • Successful bidder for the De Beers Group’s Rapid Deployment Macro Modular generic solution for Kimberlite projects – first deployment Jwaneng Mine.
  • Designed and built a walking jack-up mining and processing platform in surf zone – a world first (Namdeb).
  • Conceived and commissioned 5000 cubic meters per hour siphon seawater intake system – no pumping required (Namdeb).
  • Patent registered in major diamond producing countries worldwide: Balancing fines and coarse DMS circuits.
  • Employer of choice for top engineering and management skills for minerals industry  in Cape Town.
  • Cat 1&2 portfolio projects at Debswana’s Jwaneng Mine – ADP Kukama (previously known as ADP/UniProjects) entered a 5 year contract to execute Cat 1&2 at Jwaneng Mine, Botswana through their Project Management Office with oversight from  an ADP Johannesburg office
